Chants
“OM”
The “OM” is considered the most powerful mantras of all. It corresponds to the Egyptian “Amen” and actually represents the name of the Divine Logos. When we emphasize and prolong the “O” we affect one another and the energy of the auric field. When the “M” (the humming sound) is prolonged the entire effect is produced internally, awaking the divine within us. When we sound the “OM” we need to visualize our limiting and hindering thought forms being shattered. The “OM” is the sound of contract with the divine and thus it is an instrument of our release. It has the power to release and create anew. The “OM” is also a call to attention. It arranges the particles of our subtle bodies into alignment. Every particle of energy within us responds to the sound of “OM” The “OM” is also a call to other beings of light.
“ALM”
This is a variation of “OM”.
Instead of the two sounds of O and M, there are now three-“Ah-Oh-mm,”
The “ALM” helps us to repair and rebuild while the “OM” helps us to release and harmonize.
“OM MANI PADME HUM”
(Ohn-Mah-Nee-Pad-May-Hum)
This mantra translates as “the jewel of the lotus.” It is believed to be a link to the Great White Brotherhood and particularly to the Goddess Kwan Yin. Kwan Yin is to the East
What Mother Mary is to the West.
She is a protector and healer of children. She has the ability to negate any act of violence directed at anyone.

EL—-KA—-LEEM—-OM
Chants to the Elements by: Tom Kenyon
This is best done outside; however it is still powerful wherever it is done. Allow you’re self to relax and find that place in your heart center. You are going to be sending love and gratitude to each of the elements. You will chant the sound, while holding the vision of the element in your heart, honoring it with your love. There are two parts, the first part is to the elements outside our selves and the second part is to the elements inside our body. When this chant is done for a long period of time the two aspects merge. The inside and outside become one. It is a profound and delicious experience. Repeat the chants in sets of four.
